‘Management Induction’ at Somerfield Stores and Kwik Save’ - UK food retail organisation.
A ‘Divisional Executive Familiarisation Programme’ (Management Induction) was designed to introduce newly appointed divisional executives to their role. The focus was on key processes, routines, measurements and behaviours.
- New recruits were helped to ‘integrate’ into the business quickly and effectively fulfil their role and keeping lost productivity to a minimum.
- Retention rates improved within the first six months of employment.
- New recruits started the programme feeling ‘committed, engaged and productive’.
