‘Leadership and Management Development’ at Signet - Signet Group plc is the world’s largest speciality retail jeweller and operates leading operations in both the US and UK.

Since 2001, Jibboo have developed and delivered management development programmes, selling programmes, conference sessions and competency design.
 
Part of the HR Strategy is to deliver through the line and therefore L & D programmes are delivered by developing line managers' ability to develop their own people and sustain the improvements derived by the training/development. 

The 2009 ‘R.E.A.L. Development Programme’ was aimed at delivering and reinforcing key business messages in a time of change and uncertainty.
  • Commitment to attend was increased due to a ‘Development Discussion’ process.
  • Registration rates increased from 41% to 85% of the population.
  • Workshop attendance levels increased from 73% to 86%.
  • Line Managers and staff took responsibility for their own development.
In 2010, the programme will continue and now includes ILM Qualifications as part of the leadership and management development offer.
